Make yourself a holiday priority! (And know that is a good thing!)
We all love Christmas season, right?
The hustle, the bustle, the commitments. The parades, the dinners, the gifts, the decorations, the cards. The last minute shopping, baking, trips to the post office.
But where do you fit in? How are you taking care of you? How are you keeping your needs in mind in the noise of all of the needs in your schedule?
Let me be that little voice in your ear that reminds you to take care of you.
Just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'm holding the
happyHEALTHYholidays challenge
I love this challenge because it reminds you to stay focused on yourself and your intentions - your choices and your environment - within all the excitement and chaos of the holidays.
Working together, we’ll set four goals that are important to you and your self-care. We'll look at your fitness, food, self-care, and home goals for this holiday season. You'll set one goal in each area that you want to accomplish daily.
I look at self-care goals much differently than typical goals. These are goals that are truly important to you, not shoulds. In my mind, they each could be completed in 5-10 minutes throughout the day. Goals in the past have been things like putting lotion on after the shower, gathering trash from the car, only one sugary treat a day, taking the stairs instead of the elevator into work each day. I see these goals as a way to help you maintain your sanity during the holiday season, not added stress.
We'll work together to set your self-preservation goals for the season and then I'll remind you of them. Via text messages or emails. I'll help keep your needs and wants in the front of your mind.
With happyHEALTHYholidays, you’ll get:
The challenge will run 11/25 - 12/26.
