running coaching
Running has changed my life. Because I am a runner, I know that I can accomplish anything I put the focus and work into. Running has helped me build community, build faith in myself, and built my strength and bravery in all aspects of my life.
Sometimes running isn't just about running. But sometimes it is.
And either way, I've got you covered.
This is what you can expect from a Coach Krissie training plan:
I had tried to start running so many times in the past and was never successful for long. Last year, I heard about a group led by Krissie Bentley and decided to give it one last try. I’m so glad I did! On January 1, 2012, I met an energetic, kind soul that helped me get started and stay motivated. Krissie is the most non-threatening runner I’ve ever met. She really believes that running is for everyone and knows how to make everyone believe in themselves. She helped me set small attainable goals, encouraged me along the way, and most importantly chatted away when I was out of breath! On October 14, 2012, Krissie cheered the loudest as I crossed the finish line of my first half marathon. If you had told me in January that I would acheive that in ten short months, I would have laughed out loud, but I did it and so can you with Krissie’s help. She’s an inspiration and has become a true friend. ~ Katie Dent
Krissie didn't just coach me through my marathon, she gave me the tools and confidence to go on afterwards. I have more confidence in my abilities to work toward something, regardless of the end goal. I've learned so much about listening to my body and its needs. I know without a doubt that I wouldn't have crossed that line without her support and encouragement (and gentle reprimands). ~Jaime France
I purchased a plan from Krissie because I wanted a customized plan instead of a generic training program that I could find on the internet. My marathon goal was sub-5 and my actual time was 4:47! Krissie modified my plan when needed and I actually received more support than I expected. ~ Sarah-Ashley Solie
